Perspective

Patrons at the bar
like ants on a squashed grape in July.
Drunkenly unaware
of the descending boot.

Snow Melt

Instant archeology
A stick
Some plastic flowers
Somebodies home work
Something green snuggled against brick
Canyons carved by sun warmed grit
Excavating hope

Freedom?

I've always loved stationery, the look, feel and smell of fresh paper. Buying a new notebook has always been a good excuse to write. I wonder if having a blog can have the same effect. That crisp white expanse of paper enticing you to write upon it. The counter impulse to not sully it's beautiful purity with inane meanderings. I'm not sure exactly why I'm doing this. I think the pure optionality of it is encouraging, I can put stuff out here and no one is compelled or coerced into looking at it. I am going to try to write about those things that I normally would fear imposing on the world, politics, the human condition, feeling secure that I am  imposing on no one.

Free Rice

Free Rice is oh so nice. If one must waste time on the internet, it's great to be doing something marginally useful to others at the same time. I can get to level 51 on the English vocabulary, after that I founder. Any one else out there ready to give it a try?

Invisible

It does not seem to be visible, this little blog of mine, perhaps that isn't a bad thing, and it will show in time.

Life

Life springs forth/ Falling back upon itself/ Only to shoot forward again.
Caught/ Spiraling/We fall back/Breathless/Waiting to rise again.
